None of that. Nada, zilch**. Granted, there's a mechanism that lowers the reward saturation point from 0.2% to 0.1% of circulating ADA, which creates pressure for delegators to move their stake. However, it does not determine where that stake goes. It may move to medium-sized pools, enterprise-controlled pools, exchange pools, or other pools owned by the same operator groups. And therefore** it won't solve the underlying distribution problem! A larger number of registered pools would not prove greater decentralisation. **\n\nThis is **another suggestion, like the minPoolCost cut, that makes claims without proof and admits that the main problem is not solved.** WTF? Why are we wasting our time treating the symptoms and constantly circling around the real hard issues that need fixing? **The ledger can't reliably show who owns what, and this weakens the simple claim that increasing k to 1000 spreads power. End of discussion**.\n\nI also find it highly questionable to bring up a historical price narrative as decision-grade evidence. Placing the 2020 increase alongside ADA’s rise from $0.16 to $1.32 doesn't establish causation (even though I know that **these days, anybody who can find a correlation is free to make up a causation**). Market cycle, liquidity, adoption, speculation, ecosystem growth, and broader crypto conditions moved simultaneously and had a considerable impact. **I'm confident that a parameter change under current economic conditions would not reproduce the 2020 environment!**"}}
