YesIO: Cardano UpgradesDecided epoch 634View rationaleEnacted3mo ago

I am voting YES on the IO: Cardano Upgrades proposal.
This proposal introduces ideas that align perfectly with Midnight and future Layer 2 solutions. By enabling more predictable fees through Babel Fees and the Multi-Asset Treasury, it makes financial planning and decision-making much easier for users, DApps, and the Treasury itself.
Importantly, it directly addresses one of Cardano’s biggest current weaknesses: limited stablecoin adoption and usability. Babel Fees allows users to pay transaction fees in any native asset (such as USDC or bridged BTC) without needing to acquire ADA first. This removes a major onboarding barrier and opens the door to the massive stablecoin market, bringing new liquidity and real activity to the network.
These upgrades are essential for accelerating mainstream adoption and are fully aligned with Cardano 2030’s goals for Adoption & Utility (Pillar 2) and Ecosystem Sustainability & Resilience (Pillar 5).

YesIO: Developer Experience InitiativeDecided epoch 634View rationaleEnacted3mo ago

I am voting YES on the IO: Developer Experience Initiative.
This proposal stands out because it draws strong attention to new opportunities in the ecosystem. Cardano already has a robust and secure infrastructure, but it was missing exactly this kind of practical incentive to attract and retain more developers.
With the proposed improvements — such as the cardano-init CLI, the OpenZeppelin-style smart contracts library, the unified Developer HUB, and bounties for existing tools — many new developers will be encouraged to join the network. These developers will build high-quality dApps, bringing more liquidity, more users, and real activity to Cardano.
This is a smart investment that accelerates the ecosystem flywheel and is fully aligned with Cardano’s 2030 goals for Adoption & Utility. The requested amount is reasonable, the management through Intersect is transparent, and the potential return for the network is significant."
