This proposal adds several very useful primitives to the cardano ledger, the IOG team delivering them is undoubtedly the best implementor we could ask for.

I am deeply disappointed in the pogun lack of clarification around issues critical to their planed implementation of the DefiKernel, the Kernel is the one Defi innovation that has ever gotten me excited about Defi after almost 10 years in the crypto space, it is critical that it is implemented correctly.
Additionally the team does not seem to realize critical shortcomings in their planned technology, or is pretending to not realize them in an effort to push them down the line.
The inclusion of every high-fame developer in their advisors roster to boost their credibility is something I do not appreciate
And while the revenue sharing is a very good mechanism, the offered % are subpar to what I would hope and expect.

While Phil is an excellent developer, he is stretched too thin and being involved in too much controversy lately.
Additionally I do not believe this work should be under IOG, IOG is our star development firm and should be protected from being stretched too thin, or centralizing too much of the Cardano stack around them.
I would support a renewed proposal from Midgard labs, with Midgard Labs being in the driver seat, at a later date

This proposal is critical, since maintenance is non-optional for that reason I cannot in good conscience vote against it
On the other side it is:
Ridiculously overpriced, it is essentially highway robbery exploiting our need for it
Contains work items that should have been delivered as part of the cardano-node development , how on hell did IOG perform principles first formal verification on the node if “comprehensive specifications covering consensus” was not created beforehand ?
The Cardano-node is supposedly built with high-reliability methodology , namely “formal verification/proofs”, the result of that should be a node that requires less maintenance, yet we are stuck here with a bill for maintenance that is 10x what other node teams are asking for development
For this 3 reasons I cannot vote YES, leaving me with the only option as abstain!

Blockfrost is a private label service, It does not make any sense funding via the treasury.
The idea of having a truly verifiable and distributed query layer for Cardano to complete the e2e is very romantic.
We
A) have a plethora of query standards currently (Koios, UTXOrpc, Blockfrost, oura, koios etc etx)
B) IOG is already a point of centralization, concentrating more power to them by assisting Blockfrost cementing their self's as THE api for wallets and dAps not a good strategic move

I Have seen the Cardano documentation degrade in quality since 2019, IOG has demonstrated a complete inability to foster an intuitive and easy to onboard development ecosystem.
Giving them more money to continue working on something they are demonstrated an inability to do well is like to throwing ADA down a well.

A) Deploy their own genesis allocations to promote the ecosystem

ADA-holder is the correct definition, ADA-owner is a legal term allowing governments to abuse our system
Cardano supersedes any legacy government or court, the new terminology defines this much more clearly.

Memes are a distraction, a side-road attraction in the path to the changing of the world.
Getting stuck in a mentality that memes are the achievement of decentralization goes against everything I hope we achieve with blockchain. As such I cannot approve the normalization of meme-gambling and I cannot approve the distribution of funds to meme-projects.
My stance on memes has always been the same, "I let the children play" , it's good to find fan and I do not have the intension or right to stop you, but it is not something to be taken seriously under any circumstance!
