Motivations
The immense power concentrated in big corporations and governments profoundly shapes our lives—for better and for worse. Yet nearly every downside traces back to the same root: the erosion of individual agency and freedom. Restoring and securing our freedoms is what motivates me. Cut out the middlemen. Rebuild trust with transparency. Return real power to the people.

Qualifications
I’m an engineer, a father, a family man, a business owner, and an optimist—fair-minded, level-headed, and driven by hard work. My hope is to represent the many in the Cardano community who value uncompromising integrity, deep commitment, and unflinching truth. Every decision has trade-offs, and I intend to make the ones that stay true to the principles I live by. With a background in engineering, economics, monetary policy, social systems, mathematics, and history, I’m committed to approaching governance logical and effectively. I am committed to keeping Cardano decentralized and secure while ensuring it remains scalable and interoperable—for the long haul.

YesRevised Cardano Summit 2026 SingaporeDecided epoch 634View rationaleExpired4mo ago
With cut costs, this is good. Would have liked it lower. But this is presence and there's already a great deal of work that went into this. Hopeful to see the outcome and for next year to have a more sustainable ask.
YesIO & Midgard Labs: L2 Scalability InitiativeDecided epoch 633View rationaleExpired4mo ago
Scalability and cheaper tx's needs to happen. Especially with full scale leios and peras not being implemented until 2028ish. But this is the last time I am funding anything Hydra.
YesCardano Defi Liquidity Budget - Withdrawal 1Decided epoch 625View rationaleEnacted5mo ago
I am a proponent of investing in our own ecosystem with our own funds. However, at currently prices and trading volume levels, this proposal will not make a difference in todays market. Please up the withdraw to 90mil ADA, and use it to increase the volume of daily trade activity for each pairing, and report "revenue" to the treasury as fees paid. Since Sundae is leading this proposal, would be wise for them to lower fees on specified trading pairs. This will boost their trading volume ratio in the ecosystem and increase LP fee ratio. So Cardano sees an uptick in TVL, on-chain transactions, fee collection and DeFi gets higher liquidity and LP rewards.
YesPebble + Gerolamo - HLabs 2026 BudgetDecided epoch 628View rationaleExpired5mo ago
HLaps has a great track record, however, if not for Pebble being included in this proposal I would have said no. So this is a rather expensive ask in my opinion. But since there is a working product in order, I have high confidence that it will be done in a timely manner for Cardano. Pebble should be prioritized over Gerolamo in my opinion.
YesApprove Cardano Foundation as New Managing Entity of Project CatalystDecided epoch 626View rationaleClosed5mo ago
I agree Catalyst is necessary and I believe CF is the best organization to take charge in the matter. However, fund withdraws from the treasury for Catalyst reasons will only approved in the future if the specific disbursements are relatively small and they must include strict "Cardano benefit" terms and conditions. The disbursement cap can be voted on as well as the terms and conditions for how each project must abide to benefit Cardano (i.e. must build on Cardano only for 5 years, must provide reimbursement to the treasury for 3 years, must create net positive inflow from XYZ chain for 4 years, etc.)

This is one thing that was needed from the start. Good to see this progress formally.
YesSet 2025 Net Change Limit of 300M ADA, 2026 Net Change Limit of 250M ADADecided epoch 553View rationaleClosed1y ago
While I believe these limits are high relative to the amount we should be spending from the treasury, I recognize that these are limits and they are sensible. They are less than the projected treasury inflow adding a buffer so ass to not over spend from the treasury.
