My priorities as a DRep: Real-world utility first. I vote for proposals that move Cardano toward concrete adoption — tokenized real-world assets, programmable settlement, identity that ordinary people can use, infrastructure for green-energy investment. Validator decentralization. A healthy long tail of small, independent stake pools (SWADA among them) makes the network resilient. I oppose proposals that incidentally concentrate stake. Sustainability. Cardano's energy footprint is already an advantage; I want governance that compounds that through verifiable climate work. Transparent reasoning. I'll publish a written rationale alongside every meaningful vote. Cross-disciplinary evaluation. I evaluate proposals through aviation safety thinking, energy-engineering pragmatism, and product sense. One-axis reasoning is how bad decisions get made.

Motivations

Cardano's on-chain governance is one of the more serious attempts I've seen to translate decentralization from a slogan into a working institution. Institutions like that only succeed when people with real-world skin in the game show up to maintain them. My perspective comes from three disciplines that share one rule: complex systems only work when you trust the data, the procedures, and the people maintaining them. I'm a commercial pilot for ten years (line + instructor) — so I think about safety culture, redundancy, and how unchecked drift becomes a big problem later. I'm co-founder of Intellishares SA, where we tokenize green-energy assets and deploy blockchain in regulated, real-world contexts. And I serve on volunteer boards (AOPA Sweden, Gävle Sjöscouter, Gävlebygdens Flygklubb), where I've learned what consensus-building feels like when there's no fork option. I want to help Cardano governance succeed — pragmatically, transparently, and with a long horizon.

Qualifications

Ten years as a commercial pilot (line + flight instructor). Aviation trained me in continuous risk assessment, procedural discipline, and operating where casual decisions have permanent consequences — directly applicable to governance work. Co-founder of Intellishares SA, a blockchain-based green-energy tokenization project. I've personally designed and installed solar systems, tested inverters and batteries, prototyped circuit boards, and integrated all of it with on-chain settlement. Board service in three Swedish organizations: AOPA Sweden, Gävle Sjöscouter (Vice President), Gävlebygdens Flygklubb (Chair). Each has taught me to balance competing interests, build consensus, and be accountable over multi-year horizons. Languages: Swedish, English (fluent), Italian (learning). I operate the SWADA Cardano stake pool — my own ADA is pledged into the network whose governance I help shape.
