Plutus is cool and all, so I don't want to stop it. However, I would like to see a more concrete showing of what features are missing, what use cases they empower, and why we need them.

My concern is that the L1 reaches sustainable transaction volume. L2 can provide new capabilities but also can take transaction volume off the L1. That being said, I don't want to block this.

Blaster has started gaining traction outside Cardano. High assurance and formal proofs are our strengths. Lean into it.

Scalus is not "another node" like Dingo or Amaru. It's a complete development platform in the most common enterprise development language. This is a huge market and a fully integrated stack on top of the Java Virtual Machine targets them well.

Research is what makes Cardano unique. I have applied for Blink Labs to be a partner in this, so I am abstaining.

The primary proposer had this job at Intersect. Check the public record. The Intersect OSC has not completed their work from last cycle. Show me some success before asking for funding, especially when starting with a negative track record.

No interest in seeing this funded over actual protocol improvements.

Ongoing maintenance, especially for systems like IO's performance testing cluster and fleet of Cardano nodes used as bootstrap peers, is vital to the ability for the network to operate smoothly. While the price may seem high, this includes software and systems which help all node developers and operators. Dingo can be built at a low cost because IO does this work. It's the least sexy work, but the most important for a healthy network.

A multi-asset treasury is reason enough to support this.

We need throughput to win.

Validation in the browser plus a focused contract language. Yes, please. I'm listed as a member of the oversight committee for this project, but will receive zero funds. I wouldn't do this if I didn't want to see Gerolamo successful.

The continued path towards a centralized bureaucracy and decision making apparatus is antithetical to the decentralized and cyberpunk nature of blockchains. Wanting to control the entire NCL is why we don't participate in the process. No to bureaucratic layers. Yes to directly funding initiatives.

The Amaru team is working through the complexity of building a node. Their prior proposal brought node developers together under one roof. This one does the same and includes a testing platform which will be used by IO, Amaru, and Dingo. Community building and keeping us aligned.
