I'm opposed to creating yet another tool for this. From cardano-testnets to cardano-ignite to cardano-up, this problem space has too many entries already. Most of the ask is creating new things vs improving what we have. Updating the Developer Portal is good, but the better experience can be made by improving existing tooling and libraries. I'm in favor of improving DevX but what I see proposed is a starter kit, not improvements beyond that. PPViewHashesDontMatch should become extinct.
AbstainIO & VacuumLabs: Enhancing Plutus - Performance, Correctness, and UsabilityDecided epoch 634View rationaleEnacted3mo ago

NoPogun: Capital Without CompromiseDecided epoch 633View rationaleExpired3mo ago
I'm not voting yes on anything with a token. The treasury takes all of the downside risk. I'm also not convinced that we're bringing significant Bitcoin liquidity. This is the latest "next thing" and I don't see Bitcoiners chomping to deploy their coins.
AbstainBlockfrost: Maintenance and Next Generation IndexingDecided epoch 633View rationaleExpired3mo ago
Bee and Marek have roles in PRAGMA, so I'm sitting this out. I'm excited about Cayley and want to see it funded. Perhaps a split proposal for only that would be more agreeable to DReps.
YesScalus: Cardano’s Application Platform for Building, Launching, and ScalingDecided epoch 637View rationaleExpired3mo ago
Scalus is not "another node" like Dingo or Amaru. It's a complete development platform in the most common enterprise development language. This is a huge market and a fully integrated stack on top of the Java Virtual Machine targets them well.

YesIO & Ensurable Systems: Cardano Maintenance InitiativeDecided epoch 634View rationaleEnacted4mo ago
Ongoing maintenance, especially for systems like IO's performance testing cluster and fleet of Cardano nodes used as bootstrap peers, is vital to the ability for the network to operate smoothly. While the price may seem high, this includes software and systems which help all node developers and operators. Dingo can be built at a low cost because IO does this work. It's the least sexy work, but the most important for a healthy network.

NoCardano Budget Process Framework (facilitated by Intersect)Decided epoch 623changed from AbstainView rationaleClosed5mo ago
The continued path towards a centralized bureaucracy and decision making apparatus is antithetical to the decentralized and cyberpunk nature of blockchains. Wanting to control the entire NCL is why we don't participate in the process. No to bureaucratic layers. Yes to directly funding initiatives.

The continued path towards a centralized buraucracy and decision making apparatus is antithetical to the decentralized and cyberpunk nature of blockchains. However, since this process is entirely opt-in by participating parties, I see no reason to deny it.
YesAmaru Treasury Withdrawal 2026Decided epoch 621View rationaleEnacted6mo ago
The Amaru team is working through the complexity of building a node. Their prior proposal brought node developers together under one roof. This one does the same and includes a testing platform which will be used by IO, Amaru, and Dingo. Community building and keeping us aligned.
