\n\nFor Cardano's medium to long-term growth, strengthening its technical infrastructure and improving the experience for both developers and users are essential. This proposal demonstrates a sincere and forward-looking approach to addressing these challenges and preparing for the future. I resonate with this vision and cast my vote in favor.

The proposed elements of the Cardano Vision and Roadmap for 2025 and beyond seem to be pretty wide-ranging and I think that the product committee has done a good job.
I would like to see more explicit references in the 2025 Vision & Roadmap web page (https://product.cardano.intersectmbo.org/vision-roadmap-2025/) to:
a. research on quantum resistance for Cardano
b. research of improved algorithmic/collateralized stablecoin models for Cardano (i.e. improved versions of Djed-style stablecoins) - if possible
c. as Cardano is being built as an alternative financial operating system, there could be value in conducting dedicated research on Cardano's current limitations/opportunities for serving as a financial operating system for the world. Especially, on how Cardano's capabilities can be improved to achieve this global ambition - outside of the typical blockchain trilemma focus (decentralization, scalability, security).
I may update this vote with a larger rationale if the ongoing debate leads to new insights from delegators and other sources. - Yes7.6M ₳No rationale

Re-affirming my YES vote, while there is a disconnect in the Vision an Roadmap when it comes to community engagement and involvement. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with this. While it's a short-term focus Info Action, it's important that we can look ahead to the roadmap and see where it aligns back to the overall vision. The vision aims at scalability, development security/research, and community needs. However, the roadmap focuses in on all those things except seemingly community. There are no real deliverables defined for the later in the roadmap. This is not a problem, per-say, and to an extent it's a nitpick. While the roadmap supports the visions technical aspects, it doesn't address the community-driven, ecosystem-building aspects that the vision deems necessary.

This is an overall good vision of the next stage in the Cardano roadmap.
Although the details are fairly general, this is enough to work with as a vision for the future. More specific details, like timelines and budgets should definitely be built out and supplied for the Cardano Budget, since they are not present here.
Overall, the categories present some solid goals, but I am disappointed with the SPO Improvements category.
Both suggestions presented (min margin and modified pledge-benefit for a0) have been researched and assessed by the Cardano community and IOG for a long time without any implementation or effort to be put into effect.
I would have expected new suggestions here or new ideas to present to the community, since the previous improvements were not deemed important or significant enough by IOG to implement in the past.
If we are going with this line of thinking, then adjusting the K parameter to 1000 should also be presented as an SPO Incentive Improvement.
I think what needs to be addressed is primarily the issue of large pool operations that control a significant portion of the network, reducing the effectiveness of K.
Addressing sticky stake to retired pools and providing backup pool selections on initial delegation would be some key issues to solve for which would help with SPO Incentive Improvements.
Hopefully there is much more intended work to be done in this category, as it is the one that is lacking compared to the other categories.

The governance action in question is about defining Cardano's vision and roadmap for 2025 and beyond, a critical step for the blockchain's future development. This roadmap outlines plans to improve scalability, expand Layer 2 solutions, and enhance developer experience, all of which are vital for Cardano's growth. Voting "Yes" supports these strategic initiatives, which could make Cardano more competitive and user-friendly. For example, enhancing scalability could mean faster transactions, benefiting everyday users. I do consider Leios, Hydra and Midgard as some of the top priorities.

While this proposal itself does not outline all the specifics of this plan and there have been some doubts about Intersect, particularly its proposed budget, I am encouraged by recent progress in communications between the DRep community and the team at Intersect. I believe that Cardano's ecosystem development is extremely time-sensitive, and Intersect, in collaboration with the community's appointed DReps, represent our best option at this time. I hope that communication and process refinements continue to improve over the coming years.

I believe that the provable security enhancements made to resist adaptive attackers should be explicitly expressed as "quantum resistance" in a way that is clear and understandable to the general public and the media. Currently, Cardano is working on improving its resistance to adaptive attackers through the Ouroboros Praos protocol, but it is important to clarify how this work relates to quantum resistance. I hope that this topic will be more clearly articulated moving forward, and I am maintaining a neutral position at this time.

Nothing in the roadmap seems controversial, these are all well socialized and are required to help Cardano achieve its promise.
