This year we have spent too much from the treasury already and ADA's constant weakness against USD is not helping. 1 ADA = 0.22 USD at the time of writing. We must protect the treasury until situation is more favorable.

Due to current limitations in our governance process, I will cast abstain votes on most upcoming proposals. The existing framework does not provide the adequate structure, clarity, or time required to make well-informed funding decisions. Moving forward, I will only vote "Yes" on initiatives that are absolutely critical to the network's immediate survival and success. I sincerely apologize to the teams who have dedicated time and effort to their proposals; you deserve a more robust evaluation system. Right now, my priority must shift from assessing standard funding requests to actively improving our governance infrastructure, ensuring we no longer have to make rushed decisions with insufficient information.

I vote YES on the TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026 Top-Up “Title” Sponsorship Upgrade, with clear accountability expectations.
For me, this proposal is strongest when it is not understood as simply paying for a bigger booth. The stronger thesis is that Cardano can turn TOKEN2049 into a global distribution moment: a physical presence at one of the most important crypto events in the world, combined with a broader hybrid layer that can include Midnight City, virtual participation, livestreamed content, community access, builder showcases, and follow-up pipelines.
The standalone Summit model raised valid concerns around cost, reach, and measurable ROI. In that context, a TOKEN2049-centered strategy can be more efficient because it meets the broader crypto, institutional, enterprise, investor, developer, and media audience where they already are. If executed well, this can give Cardano more reach than a closed ecosystem event, while still creating space for Cardano builders and community projects to be represented.
My support is not a blank check for premium branding. The value of this top-up must be proven through measurable outcomes: qualified leads, meetings booked, builder demos delivered, media coverage, developer signups, wallet activations, strategic partnerships, follow-up pilots, integrations opened, and a transparent close-out report. The community should be able to verify not only that the event happened, but whether it created real adoption pathways for Cardano.
I also want funding clarity. If any part of the Title-level upgrade is being supported by private or external top-up funds, the final treasury draw should reflect that clearly, and any surplus should be returned. The community should not pay twice for the same sponsorship benefit.
Most importantly, this should move Cardano from service dependency toward open ecosystem capacity. EMURGO may be well-positioned to execute because of its Singapore presence and TOKEN2049 relationship, but the output should not remain locked inside one entity. The ecosystem should receive a reusable event playbook, transparent builder selection criteria, lead-routing process, reporting template, media asset library, and lessons learned so smaller Cardano teams can participate in the Cardano economic machine going forward.
This aligns with my broader thesis: Cardano needs convenience and visibility without dependency. If this top-up becomes a repeatable distribution model for major entities, small builders, dApps, Midnight, Intersect, and community projects, then it can be more than marketing. It can become a practical growth mechanism for Cardano 2030.

As I explained previously in past votes, I consider this (even reduced, even edited) as HUGE waste of funds. We had Community Events category in Project Catalyst - I think it's good practice to renew it and make each event go via community voting and discussion. Another option is to empower Ambassadors or DREps with (1/1000 or 1/100 of such budget).

After reviewing the proposal, I recognize the strategic value of TOKEN2049 as one of the largest blockchain conferences globally and acknowledge the benefits that a Title Sponsorship could bring in terms of visibility, media exposure, and ecosystem promotion.
However, this proposal primarily funds incremental marketing benefits beyond the baseline Platinum sponsorship. While the additional keynote, branding opportunities, and media access may increase exposure, the expected return on investment remains difficult to quantify in terms of measurable adoption, user growth, or ecosystem development.
My assessment is therefore based on whether the additional treasury expenditure can be justified relative to other ecosystem priorities. DReps should carefully consider whether premium visibility provides sufficient value beyond the baseline sponsorship already under consideration.
