I am voting yes on this proposal because I view maintenance as foundational infrastructure rather than optional development work. Every upgrade, scaling initiative, security improvement, governance enhancement, and developer tool introduced into the ecosystem ultimately depends on continued maintenance, monitoring, testing, incident response, documentation, and release management to remain stable and trustworthy over time.
I recognize the significant Treasury ask and believe proposals of this scale warrant heightened scrutiny, transparency, and accountability. The breadth of the work — spanning bug fixes, DevOps, quality assurance, performance optimization, security reviews, release management, monitoring, and component maintenance — also makes measuring impact more difficult than feature-based proposals. Success in maintenance is often invisible: stability, uptime, and resilience frequently appear as the absence of failure rather than the presence of a new capability.
Despite these concerns, I believe the timing matters. Cardano is entering a phase defined by expanding capabilities, increasing complexity, and additional maintenance burdens introduced by scaling initiatives, governance evolution, and future protocol upgrades. As new systems are introduced, ensuring operational continuity and reliability becomes increasingly important.
My support should not be interpreted as unconditional endorsement of rising operational costs. Rather, it reflects the belief that sustained infrastructure requires sustained stewardship, and that maintenance funding — when paired with oversight, transparent reporting, and measurable accountability — is necessary to support a production-grade ecosystem over the long term.
I support continued scrutiny regarding efficiency, cost distribution, and decentralization of maintenance responsibilities across the ecosystem. However, at this stage, I believe maintaining the reliability, security, and operational resilience of Cardano is a necessary investment as the ecosystem enters its next cycle of growth and complexity.

I am voting in favor of the Cardano Maintenance Initiative. While the funding request is substantial, this is a "keep the lights on" type of proposal, and I have little doubt that IO is the most qualified entity to do this work. The funding ask is hard for a non-expert to justify, as it seems very high, but without a competing bid, this is not really a negotiable initiative. If you need to maintain your roof and there's only one roofer, you pay the roofer.
I am voting in favor because core infrastructure maintenance is the highest-priority use of treasury funds. Protecting the integrity and uptime of the Cardano blockchain is essential for institutional trust and long-term ecosystem sustainability. - Yes107.2K ₳No rationale

I support this proposal because Cardano’s long-term growth depends on a stable, secure, well-maintained foundation. As a Product Committee voting member and Cardano citizen, I see maintenance as essential infrastructure for achieving the Cardano 2030 KPIs: reliability, monthly transactions, active users, throughput capacity, governance participation, and long-term ecosystem resilience.
This is a YES, but not a blank check. For a proposal of this size, the community should expect transparent milestone reporting, measurable Proof of Achievement, public release and performance evidence, security and incident-response reporting where appropriate, clear close-out documentation, and a visible path from IO-led service delivery toward broader ecosystem capacity.
My core lens is that Cardano needs convenience without dependency. This proposal supports that direction if the Cardano Blueprint, open-source support, conformance testing, monitoring, documentation, and Ensurable collaboration reduce reliance on one provider and make maintenance knowledge more reusable across the ecosystem. The long-term value is not only that IO keeps Cardano running; it is that Cardano becomes easier for more capable teams to maintain, extend, verify, and build upon.
I vote YES with accountability expectations: deliver the maintenance, publish the evidence, return unused funds, document the learning, and make the model increasingly replicable so smaller builders can participate in Cardano’s infrastructure economy.

I shall continue to vote in favor of the Input Output Global (iOG formerly known as iOHK) proposals due to the fact that iOG has continuously year in and year out built, upgraded, innovated, and further strengthened the ecosystem through various market upheavals, negative press, and technological shifts. Through continuous efforts this cadre of developers, educators, various business persons, scientists, and experts in their fields have proven more than capable of the continued maintenance and innovation necessary to further the Cardano blackchain. I find value in all proposals from iOG until a suitable development group or lab can prove not only innovative, but evolutionary for the technology in which we all utilize and enjoy. The blockchain has survived based off of the creators of the protocol, we must continue the path set forth until we have a suitable substitute that can create viable upgrades and are capable of pushing the community and the blockchain into a realm of technological dominance I vote Yes for this proposal.
