For less stress, I am voting yes. Can you imagine the shitstorm if this doesn't pass? I also respect the efforts of my fellow community members who have provided excellent rationale in their yes votes.

I have decided to approve the new Constitution GA.
I believe it is more detailed and clearer than the interim constitution, and can significantly reduce financial risks such as treasury withdrawals.

Additionally, I have focused on education and information sharing in the Cardano community, serving as a bridge between Japan and the global community.

I believe that with the adoption of the new constitution, the entire community can build stronger and more open governance while learning and growing together.

For these reasons, I consider approving the new Constitution GA to be the most desirable choice.

Not entirely satisfied with the current constitution draft, but it's a solid start.
I voted YES because its flaws aren’t significant enough to halt progress.
    Needed changes (non-exhaustive):

    • The tenets should explicitly state that Cardano is public and permissionless, ideally as the first one.
    • Definitions should be part of the constitution.
    • A guardrail for hard forks should ensure the ecosystem (exchanges, dApps) is ready without strict thresholds like stake pools.

I'm voting YES on the Cardano Constitution for the following reasons:

As a pragmatic supporter of governance, I believe Cardano must not fall behind. While this constitution is not perfect, it is a necessary and well-structured step toward decentralization and increased governance participation. As a Constitutional Delegate, I have personally engaged with the drafters, voiced my concerns, and seen genuine efforts to address them.

There are still areas that could be improved—such as budget clarity, the administrator role, and the election process for the Constitutional Committee—but the opportunity cost of delaying far outweighs the benefit of marginal refinements. The governance framework is solid, and the time to act is now. Delaying this decision would only create uncertainty and hinder the progress of decentralized governance.

Security is a top priority, but it is not something that can be guaranteed solely by the constitution. True security comes from broader participation in governance. The more ADA holders engage, delegate, and vote, the more resilient and decentralized the system becomes. This constitution provides a strong foundation, but its real strength will come from the active involvement of the community. Delaying its adoption does not make the network safer—on the contrary, it prolongs uncertainty and discourages engagement at a critical time. (We are already seeing examples of this.)

On the topic of DRep compensation, which is not exactly defined on the constitution, my stance has evolved. Initially, I saw it as essential, but now I believe we should take a measured approach. The current workload remains manageable, yet incentivizing more participation could benefit the ecosystem. A trial incentive model in 2025—not as a salary but as an encouragement—could be a productive next step, and I would support its inclusion in the next governance budget in order to incentivize the creation of new DReps.

This vote is not about achieving a perfect document today—it is about laying the foundation for a governance system that can evolve. Cardano’s governance allows for iteration and improvement, but that can only happen if we take the first step.

The progress made is significant, and striving for minor refinements at the cost of forward momentum would be a disservice to the ecosystem. That is why I am voting Yes.

Voting yes is an acknowledgement of two important factors:

    • this is the Constitution we have, it might not be perfect but we must start from it and progress from there;

    • loads of work and thought have gone into this document, to build a base from which to continue building together.

I wish to thank all the people who have contributed to the Constitution with their time and hard work. My vote is for you!

It gives me great satisfaction to cast my vote on behalf of those who delegated to me in favor of adopting the Cardano Constitution. An enormous amount of work by countless people went into creating this document and it marks a very important milestone for the Cardano ecosystem. May it serve well for decades and centuries.
