I am voting YES on the 2025 Vision & Roadmap for Cardano because it outlines a well-structured and ambitious plan to enhance scalability, decentralization, and usability. The roadmap presents a strong commitment to technical excellence, including advancements such as Leios for improved transaction throughput, Hydra and Midgard for L2 scaling, and innovations in programmable assets.
These developments will strengthen Cardano’s position as a leading blockchain ecosystem by fostering developer engagement, increasing interoperability, and driving real-world adoption. The work done by the community, developers, and governance members is commendable, and I fully support these improvements to ensure a sustainable and decentralized future for Cardano.

- Criticisms: The absence of specific timelines for Leios, a key scaling component, leaves its implementation uncertain. The focus on Layer 2 expansion—such as AVS linked to Midnight and the introduction of Minotaur—seems premature for Cardano. Additionally, I support the SPO incentive enhancements, like min-margin and pledge-benefit curves, but they warrant more attention and a broader scope.

Despite reservations, the roadmap’s emphasis on scalability, multi-node development, and zkProofs justifies my support with a yes vote.

As a marketing-focused DRep I had initial reservations about supporting this governance action and planned to abstain. Because it was released alone without complimentary roadmaps from other Intersect committees I first assumed that this roadmap was to function as the sole illustration of how Cardano will move forward with expansion and growth, therefore the clear lack of marketing support for the product was problematic.
After chatting briefly with one of the authors of this document, the purpose of the road map was made clearer. In the future it would be appreciated to see the committees work more closely together, to release materials like this in unison to avoid confusion and to foster greater inter-committee cooperation.
As it stands, this roadmap is well delineated, is clearly orientated toward supporting expansion of Cardano’s adoption and further enabling its existing use case through improved programmability, better focus on user experiences, enhanced scalability and speed, and further stable coin implementation. For this reason I’m voting “Yes” on this governance action and I suggest other committees study this roadmap and release similar documents to clearly inform the community about what goals they wish to achieve, and how they will achieve them.

We agree with the proposal view of Cardano's vission: a future where it serves as the robust and scalable foundation for a decentralized global economy.
We voted yes because the priorities and details in the proposal addresses this vision well. I will move the needle and set us up well to be competitive in both the short and long term.

Taking a high level view, the roadmap describes a comprehensive set of technical objectives that, if delivered upon, positions Cardano well going forward. To that end, I vote "Yes". That isn't to say that there are not valid criticisms of the proposal or that a full roadmap might not include additional information. For example, I'd like to see the roadmap include additional details around resources required and proposed milestones (i.e. more 'how'). I'd also like to see greater linkage between deliverables and intended end-user impact (i.e. more 'why'). My 'YES' vote is an endorsement of Intersect to continue building out this roadmap.

I’m excited for Cardano’s plans to increase liquidity with zero-knowledge proofs and introduce Babel Fees, making transactions more accessible without needing ADA initially. The L2 expansion with the AVS layer, alongside scaling Hydra and the Midgard rollup, will bring even more flexibility and efficiency to the platform. I’m also looking forward to faster transaction finality with Peras and an enhanced developer and user experience through improved tools, APIs, and decentralized services. The new programmable assets will unlock exciting use cases, and the focus on supporting multiple node implementations will make the network even more resilient and decentralized. As for the other upgrades, I’m excited for the scaling of L1, the Leios protocol, codebase optimization, and Mithril decentralization. Plus, I can’t wait to see the improvements to SPO incentives and the architectural excellence Cardano is striving for. 2025 is going to be big. Hi from the past.
