We chose to vote "YES" on this governance action "Name the Protocol Version 12 hard fork ‘von Bergen’" (gov_action1fza...qgfc9h), because we believe it is important to recognize and preserve Fabian von Bergen’s contribution to Cardano’s history. As an active and respected community member since the ecosystem’s early years, this recognition continues Cardano’s tradition of associating important protocol milestones with individuals who have made meaningful contributions to the development and strengthening of its community. As this is an informational and symbolic governance action, no Treasury funds are requested, meaning there is no budgetary impact or financial cost-benefit consideration. I see naming hard-forks for fallen contributors in tribute as an easy decision and worthwhile endeavour.

As there are others who have also passed recently, I will note that my future decisions will also be to support other such memorial namings in the same manner.

    I support this Info Action.

Fabian von Bergen, known as Zyroxa, contributed to the Cardano ecosystem from the ITN era as a Cardano Ambassador, SPO of the Tempus Stake Pool, and an honest and outspoken voice on the Cardano Forum.

Cardano has a tradition of naming hard forks after deceased community members who made important contributions, as seen with Vasil and van Rossem. I believe the name “von Bergen” would be a respectful tribute in keeping with this tradition.

I vote YES on "Name the Protocol Version 12 hard fork von Bergen". This is a small, non-financial Info Action that honours Fabian von Bergen, also known as Zyroxa, as an early community member, Ambassador, Tempus SPO, and independent voice. Naming the hard fork after him follows Cardano's tradition of recognising deceased contributors. I support applying the same respectful, non-competitive standard to future memorial naming proposals.

I'm voting YES to name Protocol Version 12 "von Bergen" as a small but meaningful way to honor Fabian's memory and everything he gave to this community. Since the early days, he was always there—honest, authentic, and willing to help people find their way in Cardano. Whether through the forum, as a stake pool operator, or as an ambassador, he made a real difference that many of us felt personally. Naming this hard fork after him ensures his name lives on in the very fabric of Cardano he worked so hard to build. I hope by doing this it can serve as a simple gesture of respect for someone who truly cared about this ecosystem and the people in it. May he be with us forever on chain, and may we meet with him again some time in heaven.

Naming the Protocol Version 12 hard fork “von Bergen” is a symbolic gesture rooted in community respect rather than technical necessity.

Fabian's long-standing presence in the Cardano ecosystem, from ITN days to SPO and Ambassador roles, is well documented and appreciated.

Given his recognized impact and absence of competing proposals, this salute aligns with Cardano’s culture of honoring foundational community members. It’s a gesture that preserves history and identity in a decentralized system where legacy matters.

In a decentralized ecosystem naming things after individuals is not a healthy signal.

I support naming the Protocol Version 12 hard fork “von Bergen” without hesitation.
The fact that Cardano chooses to honour long-standing community contributors in this way is one of the ecosystem’s quiet strengths, and something we should continue to uphold. Fabian von Bergen (Zyroxa) was part of the community from the ITN days. He contributed with quiet diligence, humility, and consistency. Thoughtful yet clear in his views, he never softened his words for convenience and never stepped back from difficult conversations, always meeting the community as his genuine self.
These are exactly the qualities a healthy and lasting ecosystem needs. Naming the hard fork after him is more than a personal tribute. It ensures that future participants reading the ledger and the history of Cardano will know that someone of real substance once stood among us.
May the name “von Bergen” remain a lasting reminder that this community remembers those who truly contributed.
